Verizon Wireless selected as the primary provider of wireless products and services to Harvard employees, with thousands of lines currently in service
Harvard plans to deploy "in building" wireless technology that will improve Verizon Wireless service in buildings throughout campus
Verizon Wireless deploying new cell towers in Cambridge in 2007 to both expand the available coverage area, as well as bring the highest quality wireless broadband network – EVDO rev. A to the Harvard Campus and greater Harvard Square area.
